Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is now well into its third week in theatres. The film has slowed down considerably as it continues its theatrical run. However, despite the drop in daily footfalls, the Geetu Mohandas-directed film continues to add to its overall box office tally. The latest phase of its run is marked by smaller collections, with weekday numbers staying well below the levels seen during its first week. The film is now looking to hold on in theatres and add more to its worldwide total.

Yash starrer reaches Rs 249.49 crore India net

According to the latest Sacnilk report, ‘Toxic’ collected around Rs 12 lakh in India net on Day 22, September 16. The film recorded an estimated gross collection of around Rs 15 lakh. Its overall occupancy remained low as the movie entered another weekday in its third week. With the latest update, the Yash starrer has now earned approximately Rs 249.49 crore India net. The film collected Rs 239.30 crore in its first week, while the second week added around Rs 8.94 crore to its India net total.

‘Toxic’ worldwide box office collection stands at Rs 341.52 crore

The worldwide numbers continue to give ‘Toxic’ a sizeable overall tally. After 22 days, the film has recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 341.52 crore, including Rs 43.75 crore from overseas markets. Its India gross collection has reached around Rs 297.77 crore, keeping the film close to the Rs 300 crore mark domestically. Karnataka remains one of the key contributors to the film’s theatrical business, while Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the rest of India have also added to its total. However, the pace has slowed during the third week.

Kiara Advani appears as Nadia, with Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, and Rukmini Vasanth as Mellisa. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film combines crime, family conflicts, and characters connected to Raya’s troubled past.
